ALL NIGERIAN NATIONALS IN THE DIASPORA (ANNID) Togo chapter is a non-partisan, pan-African, pro-democracy, non-profit, policy implementation organization of Nigerians in the development of Nigerians and other African States. ANNID TOGO has a global membership comprising of professionals with diverse skills and expertise based in Asia, America, Europe, and Africa.

ANNID recognizes that Nigerians in Diaspora is not a transient phenomenon but an established demographic structure targeting to reverse the Brain Drain phenomenon to Brain Gain and support good governance in Nigeria.

Education is the hallmark of national development. We must go back to the basics by reinforcing the values of education in our children. ANNID as a Project Oriented organization believes that to fulfill our country, we must get actively involved and work towards solutions that will help our country become one of the best in the world by exporting internationally accepted best practice home.

COLLABORATIVE ventures with the government will further establish an avenue to interface with the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary arms in order to make a meaningful impact with the general populace. This would enable and help actualize ideas that will facilitate continued transformation in all areas of National development. It will also galvanize Diaspora skills and expertise to contribute to the current transformation trend, hence positioning Nigeria as one of the 21st century emerging global economies.

ANNID globally has been very proactive in building bridges that would facilitate and accelerate the implementation of the political and socio-economic sustainable development initiatives of Nigeria. By establishing necessary synergies with strategic multilateral and governmental, research and financial institutions, this would contribute to a sustained industrial development across Africa.

Our vision is to galvanize and sensitize Nigerians in the Diaspora for the purpose of reversing the “brain drain” phenomenon that started in the 0s (mas exodus of Nigerian professionals) to “brain gain” and provide the relevant platform to build a STRONG, SUSTAINABLE, RESOURCEFUL DIASPORA INSTITUTION THAT WILL MANAGE DIASPORA AFFAIRS. This will include among others, matters relating to overseas Nigerians comprising Persons of Nigerian Origins (PNOs), Overseas Citizens (OCNs), Non-Resident Nigerians (NRNs) and overseas Nigerians who are not PNOs, OCNs or NRNs.

We shall continue to sensitize Nigerians in Diaspora and themselves into one big community void of tribal/religious sentiments that will create a tangible force in order to achieve a better Nigeria Diaspora community, implement concrete initiatives to empower Nigerian communities in the Diaspora to support Nigerian Social/Political Development, Economic Development and good Governance and keeping one identity.

OUR OBJECTIVES
ANNID Objectives among others include:
  • To provide a soft landing for Diaspora returnees.
  • To provide information and resource centres for Diasporas and investors.
  • To provide services that will add value to the privileged in the society.
  • To mobilize Nigerians in the Diaspora in both public and private sectors to facilitate and accelerate the continued economic growth and development in Nigeria for the advancement of African renaissance.
